PURGED SEAFOOD
WANTED: GULF COAST Shrimpers, Fishermen, Watermen, Crabbers, Oystermen,
We have developed a way to take contaminated seafood and purge it of impurities making the seafood safe enough to eat. (For over 6 yrs.) For $1,000 dollars ($500 for each additional) we can set up a 625 gal. 8ft. Tub that would take bad seafood and make it clean again. Putting you back to work and when this mess is over the same tubs could be used to spawn oysters, shrimp or crabs, etc. helping bring back the wild population of creatures. P.S. Let BP know.
“GULF ARK”
We need to save a sampling of the different sea life in the gulf preserving it for future generation’s oysters, crabs, shrimp, fish; corals, sea horses, etc. are all different in different locations. I.E. We can’t put Chesapeake Bay oysters in Gulf waters. Since the fishermen that have nothing to do right now could be out collecting the seeds of the Gulf of Mexico that make up the eco system. Saving them from extinction. For future repopulation. Killing all the life in the gulf would be terrible, but if we couldn’t bring it back that would be FOREVER. We could show them how to set up and hold sea life very cost effective and practical. In conjunction with Aquariums, fisherman, watermen, crabber, shrimpers, hobbyists, etc. we could SAVE the sea life BEFORE it’s too late. All we need is SOMEBODY to listen.
AN AQUARIUM WORTH SUPPORTING:
http://www.gulfspecimen.org/
How to help:
We have visited an aquarium in the Gulf, on the pan handle of Florida called Gulf Specimen Marine Lab and they are in danger of being killed by the oil spill. They have always ran the aquarium with the gulf water. They will have to shut down the water coming in when the oil hits. They will need filtration equipment, and the ability to create synthetic sea water. This would enable them to be a closed system until the danger is gone. This in fact could be the gulf ark and we could save the aquarium. Please let us know if you have 55 gal. barrels, pumps, sea salt or anything that would help, because BP is NOT helping. They have invested thousands of dollars of their own money to fund this project and we are offering our assistance in this endeavor.
WORLDS LARGEST PROTEIN SKIMMER: *******************
The oil leaking into the Gulf would no be a problem if it was contained, right? Okay, here is a practical idea to contain “ALL” the oil escaping into the Ocean.
Place a large floating boom all around the area (water zero) with mile deep fish nets with sheets sewed into them hooked form the surface to the bottom creating a giant tube around the oil spill. Than Ventura inject air into the blow out preventer, in essence creating a giant protein skimmer. (An apparatus used to separate and collect organics, proteins or oils from the water of a marine tank.) ALL the oil would form into a froth that could easily collected with skimmer boats.
UPDATE:
NOW FINALLY AFTER 6 YEARS OF USING THIS METHOD, THEY ARE GOING TO USE OUR IDEA BUT OF COURSE IT WAS ECOSPHERE TECHNOLOGIES IDEA.

STOP DRILLING IN OUR OCEANS!
We must protect our Oceans above all else. Why is this so important? Facts are stated above. By tragedies such as, Hazardous Waste Materials being dumped, trash, over fishing and a lack of respect. Two many people are pointing fingers at each other rather than dealing with the hard facts. We ALL are responsible. We the people have the control. We vote for our representatives, and senators, we feed ourselves from it's resources and when it's gone, then what? We buy our products to support these industries without any thought of where our money goes AFTER we spend it. What we do effects the whole world, not just us. I, I, I, me, me, me, attitude will be the down fall of all humanity and the world in which we live. YES, money, greed, and selfishness. We have a responsibility to take care of where we live. As a voice for the creatures: "Don't come in MY house and dump your stuff. You do NOT own the Oceans". If you think what you do does not matter, IT DOES! What comes around goes around (the whole planet). It is possible to stop this down slide, the earth can heal itself over time if we stop NOW!
If you would like to discuss this or other issues you may join our "On-line Think Tank" at:

DAY 41 - BP OIL SPILL
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Dear Volunteers,
Thank you for your patience in allowing us to respond to the BP Oil Spill with a coordinated and safe volunteer program. We've received numerous emails asking why volunteers haven't been mobilized to assist with oil removal at this time. First, many areas of Louisiana that have been impacted by oil are sensitive marsh areas that are only accessible by boat and require professional training for oil remediation activities. Second, BP is only using trained and paid contractors to handle oiled material on beaches and shorelines. Third, we do not want to detract from the use of a local and contracted workforce that may rely on compensation for clean-up related activities to supplant the interruption of their previous income.
As you can see there are many considerations for how we implement safe, coordinated and sensitive volunteer activities. With the disappointing news Saturday that the top kill was unsuccessful, we have to be planning for a long and hard fight against oil on our shorelines.
The first step in the fight against oil is to reduce the amount of debris in the potential impact zones to the west of the current oiled shorelines. Debris and trash that collects on our shorelines can potentially get covered in oil and make the clean-up of these natural areas even more complicated. In anticipation of oil moving westward, we are planning a Beach Clean-Up project in Cameron Parish.
This project will include the removal of debris, both natural and anthropogenic, from the shoreline to make the removal of oil less difficult and reduce the amount of hazardous material we will have to dispose of once affected by the oil spill. In addition to picking up trash, we will be raking and moving the organic debris from the waterline to past the high tide line. The last volunteer project in Lower Jefferson Parish was a complete success and turned out to be a great asset now that the Grand Isle area is being affected. This is a pre-landfall clean-up; there will be no handling of any oil contaminated material or wildlife.
Beach Clean-Up in Cameron Parish
Saturday, June 5, 2010
8:30 am to 3:00 pm
Volunteers MUST register online for this event. Unregistered volunteers will not be accepted, so REGISTER TO HELP TODAY!
During the Beach Clean-Up event on June 5th, GRIT and BP will provide:
· All required equipment, including gloves, trash bags, shovels, bug spray, sunscreen, etc.
· Food and refreshments to all volunteers
· Disposal for the trash collected
· First aid kits and a first responder on site
· A 30-minute safety lesson prior to the day's activities
BP requires that all volunteers must be 21 years or older. The project site is located along the Cameron Shoreline near Holly Beach. This is a single day event. Volunteers must provide their own transportation to and from the project site. Volunteers will be emailed details about the event and what to bring/wear, including the exact meeting location, once they are registered.
BP and GRIT are organizing events to ensure the safety and well-being of the volunteers, as well as the wildlife and natural areas. It is required that volunteers participate in an organized event at an approved location and do not attempt to access natural areas on their own. Many areas are privately-owned, are undergoing construction activities, or have nesting wildlife, so coordination with GRIT and BP is imperative to a safe event. Please do not attempt to engage in volunteer activities on your own.
If you are not able to volunteer for this event, please consider making a financial donation to help GRIT to provide additional opportunities in the future. Click here to donate
