MY PET FISH

In the story Flushing Nemo from Disney, the clown fish was taken from the ocean and put right into an aquarium. In real life it is much different for the collecting of pet fish. They go to giant wholesale facilities that mix all the fish together and use chemicals on all of them because when you mix fish together they will give each other parasites that will kill most fish within a few weeks and so will the chemicals all the fish are exposed to so they will make it through the sale but die later so more can be sold. Fish do not have the same right to pet fairness like other pets...in other words you can torture and kill all the fish you want, anyway you want to make a profit at all cost. Have you seen the show called Animal Cops? They will go in and take a dog,cat or any other animal from someone who is mistreating them and even threaten them will jail. These same laws do not count for pet fish and people can do whatever they want without breaking any laws. How is this fair to pet fish? Many of these fish are being collected to the point of extinction in the ocean but not one law is even bent. These creatures in the sea have an important place in the ecosystem of the ocean and should have the same right to protection from big business and needless killing for fun as other pets do. Please call you local congressmen, animal control and health dept. to let them know fish and creatures from the sea should be treated with the same fairness as other pets and not be needlessly killed for profit because they do not have a right to live.
